I am sure he is supposed to be a ble to conquer the temptation than cut off his #######. An errection doesn't just happen without some stimuli. If this stimuli was in his mind then thats where his problem is, therefore maybe he should cut off his head!!!!

Or go and neutralize the woman who was causing him un-interrupted erection at the godly prayer time. As in get rid of all your temptations and their sources.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

This man was insane too. Whatever else he did to handle a simple 'hard' would be insane, except the logical way. The logical step would be to go and privately smooth away the hard, but he chose other radical solutions. We are just postulating other alternatives, none of which would be sensible anyway, as they are all alternatives from the sane one.
