My fiancée got approved on may 16th and have not received her passport yet, we try contacting Domex (Delivery Service) and they say they are changing their network to fiber optics, no phone calls, no updates to check our status online, we are clueless, how long does it usually takes, Domex says they have not received anything from the Consulate yet, what could be happening, I called the Visa Center number which is in Mexico not in Santo Domingo and they say all we can do is wait... Any ideas why it is taking so long?

Congrats on your approval.

You may want to check and confirm that you visa indeed has been issued, checkout this like and follow the directions.

I know I called 3 times, I thought is was calling Santo Domingo, I was wrong, the third time I asked the lady where was the Visa calling center, she said in Mexico, I advised my fiancée to go get a PIN, then can call Santo Domingo, for some reasons people in the USA are calling outside DR, (Mexico) However from Mexico they sent an message to Santo Domingo to see what was going on plus a I called Domex like 20 times, left them emails, finally they said tomorrow she should get it! :D
