I had received a request for evidence 4.26.2013 from Vermont Service Center for our K1 fiancée visa for my hubby.. I compiled all the requested information and submitted it back on 5.24.2013. I know it was Memorial Day Weekend and the post office and official offices were closed. But I still haven't received anything from USCIS stating they received my packet. Would they inform you when they receive your new evidence? Like do they send an email if you set up for automated updates? I'm concerned they didn't get it. I haven't called because Im afraid its too soon to start calling. Any ideas or experiences? All replies appreciated.

call them and ask if it was received in time and what you have to do

in general you will not get confirmation unless you got it from the post office or private carrier

if you get any more rfe's ensure you can get documentation that the mail was received by the due date

When I got my RFE, I sent the evidence within the next week. They didn't update my case at all. I called almost a month later, and they said to try calling after hitting the 60 day mark I think it was. But later that day, I was approved!! I believe calling did help but with enough time as well.

You could call in about a week at least. I would say wait on it because they prob will tell you that you haven't passed the timeframe yet.. from experience smile.png

09/15 - Recv'd temporary green card paper extended for 1 year

03/24/2016 - Received biometrics appt in mail

03/25/2016 - Early walk-in for biometrics (NO LUCK FOR THAT DAY, approved for following Monday)

03/28/2016 - Biometrics & fingerprints taken

07/01/2016 - Received notification to receive green card within 90 days ; 07/07/2016 - Green card received!
