I know they truly adore Rice...It's gotta hurt to be outflanked like that. ;)

Doesn't bother me. It wouldn't have bothered me if she made it as Sec of State. I believe Congress just wanted a chance to put her in front of the cameras while they questioned her about the talking points. They still may get that chance, though not for an advice and consent hearing in the Senate.

I'm sure it doesn't. I'm also sure that there are at least 40 Republican Senators and a couple hundred Republican Members of the House that it does bother. And that just kind of makes my day. They tried to sink this woman's career and they failed in that effort. That's nice.

Obama tried to sink her career, and cover his butt, when he sent her out to LIE for him.!!!!


He can appoint anyone he wants as national security adviser. He could appoint his dog to the position.

Looks like he DID appoint one of his dogs..

Wait a mo, did I get muddled?

Is the National Security Advisor the head of the National Security Agency , a unit inside the Pentagon?

I should know this one, due to some gisting training... hmmmmmm

The actual title is Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. She is a confidential adviser of the President that gets to sit in on National Security Council meetings. That's it. She has no line authority, heads no agencies. Edited by The Patriot

I guess if you're asked to make statements sanctioned by the NSC and CIA regarding secret operations in a foreign country lying? They she's the biggest liar ever. But lets live in reality for a moment.

If she's a liar, then you should apply the same title to anyone asked to do the same...which is all politicians who've ever been briefed on the same type of operations throughout time.

Did you expect her to not follow the talking points and violate her security clearance? That is if she did know otherwise.

Calling any woman a dog is uncalled for, but it does demonstrate a maturity level.

Why not? Somebody has to attend the meetings while most of the principals are otherwise occupied.

Simple mistake I know, but I love the idea of a rhetoric question. Seems like the only type of questions that come out of Sean Hannity's mouth.
