This xfer does not settle well with me at all. Specially because I'm feeling like Vermont till just go on to approving Feb applications. That would no be fair at all. Something better happen in the next 30 days or I'm calling everyone and their mother. (I am usually not the type to be pestering impatiently) I'll be damned if somethong so simple takes me a year for no reason!while others wait no more than 6 months!!!!!!

Seriously though, when I applied in december I thought to myself this NOA2 will come in May as a miracle July realistically speaking. So as we are already in June I don't have time to be playing with these fools. I am not a millionaire and I can't travel before I know a better time frame of things! They better have not xfered all these files to some dark office for the sake of claiming they "touched" them.

Lol clearly I'm upset.

P.S they can hire me part time ill do them!

weell well thank you i been thinking the same thing today rofl.gifrofl.gif

I am a Feb filer and I expect the system in place to function as it should . What the reasons were that it got to this point is deplorable ! Should I have to wait 8-12 months for an approval ? CSC is already on Feb approvals and to be honest sometimes that just hurts to read . Don't get me wrong I am very happy for them to be approved quickly . They had there own problems a few months ago .

Seeing the recent changes in VSC was very promising to witness . Not only for Feb filers , but for the much more deserved DEC and JAN people . I do not expect to be processed above them , but like I said I do expect within the time limits .

My fiancé and I are June 2012 filers we had an RFE Dec 2012 its been sitting at the VSC since Feb we were told toward the end of March it would take up to 90 days for us to get a decision I sent an e-request at the end of April they replied stating it was under a review officer and a decision would be made within 60 days, my fiancé has been calling every week some get very rude with him and he gets the same answer everytime no change from your last call. Its nice to see others getting approval within such a short space of time :-) but at the same time disheartening for me and others who have been waiting over 200 days.

*** Thread moved from K-1 Process forum to the USCIS Service Centers forum -- topic theme is rates of processing. ***

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

VSC has created a real mess! 8,000 cases transferred to an office that doesn't do I-129f's so now these people wait until staff is trained. Those left at VSC look to be forgotten. There are still several October and November filers left at VSC . Looking at Igor's list, VSC has slowed down even more. All this while CSC is processing Feb filers. I contacted the Ombudsman office today to complain. But, it will take more than me to bring attention to our plight. If your as pissed off as I am, please fill out this form and complain. There is power in numbers!!!!

At bottom of page is form to complain.
