We haven't gotten to that point in the process, but if you haven't seen it yet, this thread that is posted at the top of this particular forum is very informative about what to do between NOA2 and the Interview

Hey! I've just been through this stage myself - here are some answers:

Firstly, what web link do you have in your letter? Does it end ds2001 or iv_15? The correct one for K1 is iv_15, but when i received my letter on the 25th May it contained the wrong link and no mention of "fiance". A week after this they sent me the right letter though so I assume some mix up has happened. What I did was just send in the right forms anyway. So if you are K1 I would fill out DS2001, DS230 Part One, DS156 x 2, DS157 x 2 and DS156K. Send them back now if you are ready for interview. If you got the wrong letter you may well receieve the correct letter later, after you sent this in like I did. I called DOS and they said this is nothing to worry about and that I did the right thing.

Send the originals of these forms (including the duplicates where I put x2) to the embassy. Don't send them anything else. I would take copies to the interview for peace of mind, but I don't think you necessarily need to as they will have confirmed they have those forms.

The only other thing is that if you send the DS2001 with the forms you are saying you are ready for interview so you should strictly have the I-134 with you before you do this. However, as you will have 4-6 weeks of waiting I suggest you send it in as long as you are committed and able to get that form to you in the next couple weeks. For this she needs to do the affadavit form and collect evidence as listed in the instructions for that form. I have tax returns which you can request, bank statments, and letter from employer .

I wouldn't think you would need her divorce certificate as I assume that this was checked during the USCIS stage. However, she needs to send you the I-134 anyway (as I understand scanning and printing out is not sufficient it must be mailed with original signature) so I would get her to send it with that just to be sure!

I think you are doing OK so don't panic! Its so hard, I know... The only other thing you didn't mention for interview is the MRV receipt that you will receive by e-mail after you call the Operator Assisted phoneline and pay the visa fee. You have plenty of time to do this though as it is not needed for interview scheduling just must be done before you attend.

Good luck! :)

Codie-- you 1000% got the wrong letter. The correct letter can be read here in this post http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/?p=5180175

You are slowing down your timeline by not getting your things in. London doesn't really do RFEs like USCIS. I would re-send a complete submission based on the fiancé instructions. Link and some explanation in this post. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/?p=5137390

To be allowed to e-mail the Embassy, you need a 'code' from the extortion line. You phone them up, explain the situation and then beg for the code. The code is valid for a week. Then put that code only in the subject line of your e-mail - that is, no other text must be in the subject line but the code.

If you do not use a code, the Embassy will delete your e-mail without reading it. When you use the code, they open the e-mail.

Slow down and read everything carefully. We understand the process well. I'm pretty confident that we understand better than the embassy helpline, which is in Scotland and charges you per minute to answer questions. This is free but you've got to do some reading for yourself.

When I said send a complete submission, I mean all four application forms again. Dont leave it to chance that pieces will get matched up. You sent a spouse response. Put together a complete fiancé response. You are the third person now who has gotten the wrong letter. Maybe a summer intern?

And I gave a link to a good explanation of the forms required. Click the link in my quote above.

After you have read the post, click the link in the post that is in red. That takes you to K1 instructions on the embassy website. . The forms are there. The mailing address is there. I don't think you have read the London page yet or you would have seen the mailing address.
