From what you posted you seem to have good ties, the only thing that would be working against you are your young and single guy.

Also I remember your other post about your friend was going to write a letter about who is paying for the trip.

If you have money, I would say you should show you are paying for the trip rather than your American friend paying for it.

There are different answers for different countries of origin. You'll likely have to tell people under which nation's passport you are traveling to get the answer you are looking for. It also might be wise to post this question in one of the regional forums that best fits your country of origin as other people from there will have likely gone through the experience already.

No one can tell you for sure.

It depends on several factors such as where you are from, where you will interview and the history of people like you who have violated the terms of a tourist visa.

The only way to know for sure is to apply and go to the interview.

Good luck!

In the end you will have to pay the fees and step up to the window to see what happens. Look over the form to see what they ask for and understand these cases are usually decided based on that info which means the decision is made before you get to the window many times. For this reason I suggest you submit whatever you can in written form so they can review it.

As an entrepreneur you demonstrate your ability to begin something anywhere I suppose. Your rent payments wont help. The money in a bank is easily moved. Paying back a loan could be done from anywhere.

I don't see these things as strong ties really. And I agree that your age will make it difficult. Keep in mind they view every person with any type of visa as an intending immigrant.

hey i'm from north africa morocco, and i didn't travel to any country before, i think this will make things harder right ?

You wont get a tourist visa from there for sure I am afraid. The history of fraud from Morocco probably exceeds my country of Thailand. I was denied 3 times myself.

I believe you would return but I doubt the embassy will issue the visa. They follow the rules and those rules prevent you from getting the visa. Keep in mind it is estimated that there are millions of illegals in the USA right now.

I did get a visa and live in the USA now. My husband brought us after I was denied so we can become citizens. He said it was the only way to make sure no one could determine where we could go again. The freedom we enjoy here is amazing and I love the USA. However my situation was much different than yours in that I am married to a USC. I also fully intended to return to my country where my husband and I own land, have family and had a business. I will become a citizen in the next few months and I am very happy they denied me.

I hope you know that even if you were to get a tourist visa it is at the POE where you are allowed or denied entry into the USA. This means you may have to convince another officer of your intentions. I am sorry to say you probably wont have to worry about this.

Why is somebody else paying when you can afford it yourself?
