Okay...so then I'm not sure what your previous point was. Mine was that at the state levels there are incursions... which may not be apparent to someone living out of state. To most of American's they only see the laws being proposed at the Federal Level.

There are regulations which are not necessarily in conflict with the Constitution. Even Scalia has said in no unclear terms that the Second Amendment is by no means absolute and that the right to keep and bear arms may be regulated. Don't believe everything the NRA tells you.

They are temperamental pieces of #######. I don't know why anybody wants them, especially the military. They overheat easily, have cycling problems, they foul quickly, and don't like extremes of weather. They are cheap to produce, and like most poorly made furniture, they have an insane profit margin on the retail end.

If you ever handled an HK-93, you would see the difference.

I am fully aware of what Scalia has written and I am not an NRA member. Yet, banning all semi autos without fixed magazines is likely outside his previous ruling especially as it is at least 50% of the current market.

All weapons should be confiscated and then everyone should be issued one .50 Cal bolt action weapon. Augmented with generous rounds of depleted uranium.

Then when someone decides to shoot, it would be more well thought out decision. Worst case scenario it would be entertaining on youtube.

They do look sporty, almost toylike with those made by Mattel handguards. One nice feature I liked - they are light, After carrying one for various lengths of time for a bit over eight years through muck and mire, I did like that.
