I spoke to a close family friend who is a CT state senator about what happened in Hartford. She said the amendments were popular on both sides, and she was comfortable voting for the changes. She also emphasized that the changed were NOT as a result of any pressure from the NRA, but from a desire to strengthen the legislation which she said could have been clearer when first drafted. Since she's a pinko commie peacenik, I'm pretty sure the NRA didn't get to her.

Media has been playing around with the sample size, demographics and the way the questions are worded to give them outcome of poll whichever they want.

I just left KFC the new menu board is 75% pictures with a smattering of meals numbered 1-6 on the bottom. So I stop to get my a wife a 3 piece dinner on the way back from the gym.

Gary doesn't do that. He started a thread yesterday about how tighter NY gun control measures are already casuing gun violence to rise. To prove his point he quoted an article that actually talked about how gun violence was down 23% in NYC year over year. It's how he rolls. He likes to look incompetent, I guess.
