Questions during interview regarding cosponsor

Hi again all. Fiance and I are reviewing for his interview and I was just wondering if there's anyone reading this who has had a k1 visa approval with a cosponsor. What questions were you asked? Where they mainly about your relationship, or did they ask specific questions regarding job/salary of your cosponsor? Just want to cover as many of the possible questions as we can.

You should prepare to answer basic questions about the joint sponsor.

However, the more important issue is whether or not the U.S. Embassy Manila will accept a joint sponsor. To the best of my knowledge, they accept joint sponsors in K-1 cases, at best, 50% of the time. To improve your odds, I suggest that you accompany your fiancé to his interview.

As was mentioned there is a 50/50 chance of USEM not even accepting a co-sponsor. As for questions asked a co-sponsor is financial support, what the embassy really wants to know is that the relationship is genuine and real, not fraudulent so they will want to know that you fiancé knows about you and your family. Being family is the co-sponsor well he should know some about that ... ;)

Did you and the co-sponsor complete the I-864 along with supporting documents? That does improve your odds of getting a co-sponsor accepted.
