Interview at Lima Consulate without medical results - K1

My fiance's interview is scheduled for Monday, June 10 at the Lima, Peru consulate. His appointment letter never came in the mail, so we just received his interview date via email on Friday. That's left him with only one working week to pick up his appointment letter at the embassy, schedule/have his medical exam, and get the results back. (To add to the complications one of the two doctors for the consulate is on vacation this week dry.png)

My fiance was fortunate enough to get a medical exam appointment for this Friday, (he told me that when he was scheduling his appointment at the clinic there was a woman who had the same interview date as him, and she was given an appointment for the day after the interview) but that means that he will probably be going to the interview on Monday without his medical results. I'm sure it's not uncommon.. which is why I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this and could give me an idea/guess/positive encouragement about how much this will delay the visa being issued?
