@ Raj,

I am not sure about the answer but I think one may has to file the petition again if they lose their interview date. Since the petition needs to be filed for this visa the beneficiary cant apply himself again and chose an interview date. Also all the other dates are fixed for other people's interview (Unless somebody cancels or reschedules their appointment...which I think must be rare for these type of visas.) there is a little chance that you can get another date on same petition. However I am not sure what really happens but this is what I think.

Also this new rule of document submission has created many problems for people who arent so aware with internet etc. so I believe if u dont submit the documents in time then they may still consider your case and ask u to write an explanatary letter to the consulate and come with all the documents during interview ...they may allow certain cases I think for some time till the misunderstanding about this rule is cleared and people take a brief note of it...( maybe till the end of this month probably as the rule is still new)

However this is what my personal thinking is... I am not an expert so please try to get some official information about this by making a separate post as I dont want to misguide and ruin someones case. Hope you understand

Good Luck !
