BREAKING: Anti Gun Colorado State Senator to be Recalled After 16k Signatures Received

I don't like recall elections. It promotes low information voters and we have too many of those already. The people were not paying attention when they elected this fascist and now they want to have a special election to remove him.

One may say this is "democracy in action" but I say it is a narcoleptic electorate. He comes up for election again, vote him out then. I actually think it is a more powerful statement when something happens like the Democratic massacre in 1994 following the passage of the AWB and Brady Act. There has never been another Federal gun control law since, except those favoring gun owners.

I realize this is getting way too deep for the one-line posters already.

Better than cherry picking the facsists out one at a time would be to overturn the entire Senate in the next regular election. But it seems people are too busy watchung "Dancing With the Stars" and need to do something before they go back to sleep.

On the other hand, this does indicate the depth of feelings people have on the issue. There is also a movement for part of Colorado to seceed and form a new state "North Colorado" over this issue. It has been done before. Vermont, Maine, Kentucky, West Virginia were all formed by secession from other states.

And NO, I do not "hate" Colorado.
