Hello Everyone:

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to read and respond. I was hoping and praying this past week that my fiancee and I would have received a NOA2 and good news for our January 2013 petition. However, on May 29th I received a request for more information notice online:( When I called to inquire more details, the woman said she did not know what was needed but it would take 15-30 days to come in the mail.

To my pleseant surprise, we received the RFE request today in the mail. I am the petitioner. The document reads exactly as I have it below. My question are the first two * just general statements put on all request for evidence documents? Am all I expected to provide is an intent to marry document since its under those two asterics? How do you interpert the request? Thanks again! I hope to ship the intent to marry form overnight tomorrow.

In the RFE packet it reads the following below:

Request for Evdience

* Each petition must have its own set of supporting documents in the event that mulitple petitions become separated. Also, each response to a USCIS request must be accompanied by its blue I-797.

* All foreign language documents must be submitted with complete word-or-word English Translations. The translator must certify that the translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she is competent to translate. Do not submit the English translation without the foreign language document.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

INTENT TO MARRY: The petitioner must provide an orginal statement (signed and dated) indicating that he plans to marry the beneficary within 90 days of the benficiary's admission to the U.S.

Yes, that is all they are requesting is letter of intent. Then you must return to them, including the sheet that was sent to you listing the Rfe (because it has the number listed and barcode) so they can match the Rfe back up with your file.

Thank you for your response. That is how I read it as well!

Does anyone know if it is acceptable to do certifiable mail/return receipt to the USCIS - Calfornia Service Center for the RFE document? It provides a PO Box. Thank you for your help and time once again!!
