Entering the USA to Visit whilst waiting on iv bill

Ok my I-130 was approved we sent back the DS-3032 and the AOS stuff but theres a delay now due us submitting the new AOS form. Our issue now is we my wife who is the petitioner and I am the application would like to go visit her family in November for thanksgiving. Am I allowed into the US for a 5 day visit whilst waiting on the IV Bill?

nothing prevents anyone from visiting as long as they have followed the legal ways of entering the country but seeing that you are at nvc, you should have no problem with November with the actual k-3 visa

If you are just going for a short trip (i.e. your return flight ticket) and have a job back in Ireland to tell them about if they ask I'd say you will be fine. Especially if you're not doing back to back long stays in the states. And if and when they ask the purpose for your visit be honest and say trip to see family. But I wouldn't go mentioning that you're mid way your visa at all, unless they ask.

I say this from first hand experience of having being turned back at Dublin airport because I am an intending immigrant!!
