I think you mean UN-educated voters. Higher education correlated with voting democratic!

I don't know which one it is with him.

Modern Republican Party could win the next election if they'd just go back to their party's platform under Eisenhower. Support unions, minimum wage, women's rights, individual rights including gay people, small businesses, environment conservation.

While some may think that would make them just like Democrats, but that's how our Two party system was.... less polarized and more focused on semantics.

I'd agree with all that except unions. Unions are pretty much irrelevant these days except in a few areas.

Explain how you believe they are irrelevant?

Union membership is at historic lows. More states are becoming right to work etc etc. Like I said, they are still relevant in a few areas. They've just become another PAC as far as I can tell.

That doesn't make them irrelevant. it's a strategy by corporate interests to undermine unions, but doesn't make them less needed. Actually, it's the opposite.

Yeah they can have a picket line outside an empty factory while someone in Bangladesh does their job for 10% for what they were earning.

If you believed that unions once made sense or were needed in this country and are no longer necessary, how does that change anything? Overseas manufacturing wasn't a result of labor unions, but of chasing the bottom dollar, mostly from publicly traded corporations who care more about their market share than about their employees. Factories have already migrated from places like China, to Bangladesh where they can get away with paying even less, as well as escape any safety regulations.
