He acted quickly (unusual for a politician), which, under NJ electoral law, set the date by which the special election had to be held.

Whatever he did, this was always going to be a tightrope act. So far, by acting quickly, the only people he's annoying are the overly political and the political parties themselves. Not bad, considering. :thumbs:
