Our case is ready at the embassy in Saigon but my fiance is still waiting for packet 3....patience is a virtue

Our case has been ready since the 11th in Kuala Lumpur...Still no packet 3. *sigh*

I think I know what forms she is going to need but am not sure if she can send them in before the packet arrives? If there is an additional item needed we might just be wasting time doing it early and would just have to re-send again

I know exactly which forms we need. We have already filled them out. However we have to send them back with the checklist which is in the packet. So unfortunately we have to wait for that Kuala Lumpur does not have the packet 3 online unlike some countries. I wish they did! It would make it much easier for sure!

Got a confirmation email today stating that the embassy in Naples, Italy received our approved petition!

They emailed us the packet with directions and fees. Only a few more steps left until we can can finally be together in one city and not have to deal with tears every time we have to part

Anyway, seeing you're also dealing with the Italian consulate could you send me a message/ let me know how you got to know your case number + booked the medical and interview. You don't have to do this right away but keep in username in mind!

We still do not have a NOA2 (losing hope here...) but I guess it'd be nice to know what comes after NOA2.

when you are filling out online form and they want to know all the dates you have visited the US- I live in a border town and have crossed a million times. how accurate do I have to be? And if I missed dates or they are not accurate- how will thst impact me?

No, we haven't. We know we could either send an e-request or call but an e-request can take up to a month to get a reply and if you call it seems like they're not always informed (read people's experiences on here). Not entirely sure what an infopass is...

Finally received case number from Dos after waiting 5 weeks!! How do i know when it is sent to the embassy?

DS 160 Form is all that was requested for our case in Packet 3. We will be going through Barbados embassy. But, we only have to complete that form and print our confirmation page, which has a barcode on it.

And we actually just received our packet 3 yesterday. There is a date of October 6th or 7th that if your interview is not scheduled or packet 3 has not been sent to you by this date, they require DS 160 to replace the other forms.
