it will happen soon. have you been check the receipt numbers around your petition? have any of them been approved? I started to see a pattern in the receipts being approved around me- it was happening every 7-10 days.

There's a couple who didn't get any updates after the alien registration number -3 in total with mines. Most were approved starting August, some are waiting for an RFE review and that's that. :/ I guess it's almost e-notification time...

NVC received our documents two weeks ago after the NOA2 was granted Sept 9th. 5 weeks later it was getting old and tired, the waiting. The embassy in Kiev then received them last Friday. (within a weeks time) My fiancée called Monday and was told they have an opening October 31st (today) and then nothing for a few weeks. She quickly booked the interview for the 31st (today). I overnighted the financial documents Monday. She did her medical on Wednesday and was at the embassy in Kiev early this morning. She passed like a champ. The interview itself was about 5 minutes and she was asked about 5 questions. The officer was a young lady who was friendly and smiled at her the entire time. (The embassy in Kiev....top notch) She will receive the visa in about a week and will see America for the first time the following week. Was started out as a long, drawn out slog, ended very very quickly. I wish all of you the great happiness I am experiencing tonight.

Awesome. Got a letter from Vancouver. They have my petition. Feeling very discouraged though since I still haven't sold the house.
