I don't think so. I had to specifically choose Montreal before it let me pick a date so Vancouver is probably different.

It's been one month and 11 days without case number. Tried calling NVC many times but they haven't received our case yet have t heard from USCIS after they approved us.

i went to 46 days. The last few days before I got my case number I was losing hope and thought they lost it, but they didn't!

Okay. So um. My dearest beloved isn't the best at checking the mail lol. Nvc sent him a letter containing the new case number etc dated October 10.

Now to deal with Vancouver...sigh wish my house sold.

So. Noa2 was August 18 (or 19? Bah it's 6am Gimmie a break lol) and notice from nvc came October 10.

Almost two months. Patience everyone. Looks like they've been back logged or taking their sweet time. So if yours is over the month mark keep calm and carry on.

Just got off the phone with nvc. They gave me the good news that our case was received by them today. They gave me our case number but with all my excitement I forgot to ask where to check on updates on our case, what happens next? What can I do on my part to hurry things along or how long it takes for them to send the paperwork to the embassy in peru. Can anyone stir me in the right direction?

Check the Peru consulate website. They may have packet 3 on it - tells you what you need to get. Or contact the embassy directly.

Other option. Check the regional forums. Someone may have some Peruvian advice.

Called NVC few mins ago and I got my case number yehey!! NVC received our case on the 23rd of this month and they shipped it to the embassy 25th..

But as I checked it online it shows invalid case number uugghhhhh maybe I have to wait for few more days?
