so my fiance called NVC few moments ago,he was told that they had receive our case (I129F) today.immediately they gave him our case number before he even ask for it.it took us 16 days to get our case number from the date of our NOA2.now on to the next step.Good luck to everyone!

Hey congrats!

We also got our case number, and status in ceac says "Ready". What is next step we need to do during this time? Is it awaiting for the packet 3 sent to beneficiary or we can follow from VJ's packet 3 list? Thanks before.

Apparently my beneficiary country consulate will send me all the instruction via packet 3, which they will send after they received the approved petition from NVC. Somehow you can check in DHL website whether embassy has received it by putting the date of when NVC shipped it to beneficiary embassy. Mine is still on the way but reaching Malaysia already :) I can't wait to get all these done.

Congrats to you and your fiancée. Nice work. Vermont seems to not have any problems actually sending approved NOA2's to the NVC in a timely manner. The California Service Center, on the other hand, appears to have Cliff Clavin working in their mailroom. Approved a month ago and yet.....not received at the NVC. I was very happy that it was less than 3 months from NOA1 to NOA2. I felt lucky and very fortunate as I know others are still waiting for their NOA2 longer then I waited. But the CSC giveth and the CSC seems to maketh one wait on the back end as a result. Congrats again, friend. :)

Yes Kiev, I can understand what you are saying about the wait. I thought I was home free until being placed in AP once my petition arrived at the consulate. But I'm not complaining. I'm happy for those that sail threw the process and get their visa. Best of luck to you and yours! ClockWatch2.gif

Just spoke to a rep at NVC and was told to allow up to 8 weeks for transfer from CSC and then an additional 10-20 days for the case number to be put into their system. We were approved on 9/18....and the approval expires 1/17/2014. SMH

Sent In my rfe reply today, should be at tsc by monday. I'm nervous I don't want to have to wait any longer. Anyone know how long after the rfe answer is received before hearing an answer? And how long after (hopefully) approval before an interview is issued? My fiance is in south america

Everyone seems to have their own battles in different ways and forms.whether it's RFE at USCIS,AP at NVC/Consulate. We all have our ups and down and then there are some that go through the process smooth and quickly with no issues.anyway My case took 16 days to arrive at NVC from the date of my NOA2 approval. My case arrived at NVC October 4 and i got my case number same day. Now i been told yesterday that my case is in admin processing and there's no estimated wait time when it will end. My fiance was also told today that they were in the middle of opening our case, and they said once they open it they would send it off,but in 2 weeks. all i can say is to hang in there and keep calling!
