did you receive your case number?i was approve on the 18 too and transfer to NVC on the 26.but my fiance nor i have not called the NVC yet.

What is the next step after received your case number? Did you ask for invoice number too?

newbie here.....NOA1 june 04 2013 no touch no RFE nada....patiently waiting waiting waiting.....last 4 numbers of wac #, for those that I read earlier that are following #s, 6638

the only saving grace is that my fiancé lives 3.5 hour drive south of me into mexico.....so I get to see her and our baby every weekend....I can not imagine not being able to do that.....anyway...good luck to all.....I sure hope I can get them here by xmas....

Sent In my rfe reply today, should be at tsc by monday. I'm nervous I don't want to have to wait any longer. Anyone know how long after the rfe answer is received before hearing an answer? And how long after (hopefully) approval before an interview is issued? My fiance is in south america

Case numbers don't matter much it seems, as they follow a random order... I've been waiting for just as long, actually an extra day aaand it sucks. Really do hope we'll know something before the 5 months wait.

thanks....I have come to learn that now by reading old posts.....I look above in igors list and there are many people out 6 8 10 months and still waiting.....sure hope we don't fall into that category/.....good luck and keep us posted of your case...cheers!!

If we go over 5 months we can call or send an e-notification, asking what is up with our case.

Please keep in mind not everyone logs onto VJ every day or updates their timeline, so Igor's list's not THAT accurate... you're better off checking case numbers around you and see if they've been touched or got RFEs. Also plenty of people sent their cases and don't use this web site so you never know.

We have approximately one month before we surpass the 5 months of wait, so let's wait until then and hope to hear before November from them.

Back to crossing my fingers! At least I feel less lonely knowing my case isn't the only one that hasn't been looked into for some time, after the alien number change nothing happened. :/

so my fiance called NVC few moments ago,he was told that they had receive our case (I129F) today.immediately they gave him our case number before he even ask for it.it took us 16 days to get our case number from the date of our NOA2.now on to the next step.Good luck to everyone!

I am plain envious of all the June, July and August filers who have received their NOA2 s already. I received my NOA1 on June 3rd and am still waiting for the NOA2. My petition was transferred to Texas on August 15th and still hasn't been touched. Everyone else around my number is either approved or RFE. I haven't even received the NOA-T - hardcopy. When we called the USCIS, they said that not everyone receives a mail copy and that we should call back at the end of the month. I hope they start working on my application soon and we could find out what they have decided.
