Hi guys, me and my Fiance are June filers! Sadly though, today we got a request for evidence that's due at the end of November. So I'm not sure if this is good or bad! We got our reply faster than expected, so I guess that's good. We got our NOA1 at June 4th.

Usually it's good, at least you know they looked at your case and now need a bit more evidence before approving it.

After you send them the documents they asked for, NOA2 is usually 2 to 3 weeks away from you. You'll have an answer from the USCIS in less than a month, I think, so all in all I'd say is good. :) Although an approval would have been better. :P

It's not a denial, chances are you just forgot something and they want to make sure to collect all the documents/ information needed before making a decision.

Okay. The four months is to get the actual visa. Once that comes in then you have the (generally) six months to move, and the 90 days after crossing the border to get married.

I would be happy with a touch...... Filed may 28th, NOA1 June 10th, transferred to Texas August 8th, touched August 13th..... Since then nothing.... So it's 15 weeks today since we filed.... This waiting is getting very frustrating, especially when we're seeing June, July and August filers getting approved.... I'm beginning to think we have been forgotten.....?

We also signed up for text and email alerts and have not received either since getting our NOA1

Your timeline is almost exactly the same as ours. We still haven't heard anything either. Hasn't been touched since August 13th either. :( Hopefully we will both hear something soon!

Congratulations to all those who have been approved! good.gif
