You can get packet 3 online. At least for Montreal you can. I already have most of it ready because I printed the list off online.

Interesting that they say "If you are a Fiance (K-1) applicant:

AND YET. When looking at the form ds-160 is...it says (and yes, I added some underline):

Important Notice: All nonimmigrant visa applicants worldwide must use the online DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form, with the exception of individuals applying for a K visa, who should use the DS-156 and the DS-156K (see the Visa Categories Not Using the DS-160 section below for more information).

Yeah I was looking up stuff about that yesterday and from what I understand we do need to do it..at least for Montreal we do. That is the only form I haven't done yet, since you can't really do it until you're going to actually send packet 3 since it is an online form. (& need to scan a passport picture for it..)

Also I believe the court records are only if applicable. I put 'n/a' beside it.

Has anyone here received a transfer notice? I received my NOA1 (VSC) on June 24th and yesterday I received a hardcopy transfer notice that my application has been transferred to he USCIS office in Texas. Does this mean my application will take longer? I heard the Texas office doesn't handle i129F applications and has no timeline. Part of it says:

This is to notify you that we have transferred the above application or petition to the USCIS office at:

Texas Service Center, P.O. Box 851488 - Dept. A, Mesquite, TX 75185-1488

We transferred this case because the record indicates that office has jurisdiction over the case. That office will notify you of subsequent action taken on this case.

Does this mean I would get my NOA2 from Texas instead of Vermont?

Why some other cases got transferred to their local offices for further review of the application, but ours still under initial review , it hadn't touched since June 20 when they changed the alien number, no email no nothing. noa1 June 18 ..

We are the same, not touched since 13th August...still waiting for NOA2. Our NOA1 was June 10th... We were transferred from Vermont to Texas so have no idea what is going on... Guess all we can do is wait..and wait... and wait!!!! :-(

Well...I thought this would happen. Woke up this morning to see an email from USCIS saying we were approved. Looks like the middle name issue will need to be addressed with the NVC, or possibly at the interview.
