Bad things? Such as? If anything take it as a positive sign and a possible NOA2 coming your way some time soon. Usually if case get transferred they tend to be reviewed a bit after that.

I'm also a June filer, everything was received at the very beginning of the month and we're waiting. Sure, plenty of people who sent everything after us got their NOA2, or at least an e-mail and we got nothing, but it hasn't even been 3 whole months and we may have to wait up to 5. I'm just as anxious, but all we can do is wait.

Come on TSC!!!

This waiting is getting to me.

How many cups of coffee do you guys in TSC need? I'd gladly donate a few cups. I'm sure a lot of the people here would gladly give some too. Lol

Hey fellow June filers. I have been searching VJ threads all morning to find an answer to my question but something just came up today as my fiance and I were looking at the forms for the next steps.

I am the petitioner so I filled out all the forms for the application (ie I-129f, G-325 etc) and when my fiance saw that I had put "Joseph" (which is his fathers name) as his middle name he said that it was wrong and his birth certificate says "John" (John is his Godfather). Somewhere down the road I must have confused the two,a nd even though my fiance was supposed to be my second pair of eyes before we sent it all. it was missed (and they say men aren't great with details! lol)

Anyway now I am just wondering if I should call the USCIS on Monday and have the mistake corrected (is this even an option? I am still in initial review, no NOA2 yet) or do we just wait to have this corrected at the interview stage when the birth certificate is required? The NOA1 we received in the post just has my fianc's first and last name (no middle name) on it....Just trying to measure how bad the situation is as I am in a bit of a panic now.

Just call, say look it was an honest mistake on the form, want to remedy it...you might have to send something in in writing, I'm not sure, but at least when you call them they can help you out, tell you which department to direct the letter to or something.

I think it's based on trends and averages, again based off people's timelines.

So...people who sign up and don't update their timeline can possibly confuse the guesstimation

Just in case anyone else runs into an amendment issue. I called USCIS today and they instructed me to send in a cover letter explaining what needs to be amended as well as including copy of the I-797C we received in the post and a copy of the birth certificate.

Thanks pro_star for your suggestion :)
