10/10/2013 - Called DOS and got NVC case number (no notifications to say it had been sent)

10/11/2013 - NVC sent case to consulate

10/17/2013 - Consulate received

10/23/2013 - Packet 3 received

10/31/2013 - DS 160 Application submitted and sent to the embassy via post11/06/2013 - Fiance has medical

12/16/2013 - Embassy Interview, Approved!

06/04/2014 - POE Seattle SEATAC airport

07/05/2014 - I-485 and EAD received

08/29/2014 - Advance Parole approved

09/05/2014 - EAD approved

07/02/2015 - I-485 denied

07/17/2015 I-290b MTR sent in

Yup, California is hammering it. Now I'm curious how long it takes before the local embassy (in my case, Bangkok) gets ahold of the action? The notice of acceptance expires in 4 months. And how do they coordinate appointments with the fiancé? Call her cell phone, or letter in the mail (and I'm not sure how reliable postal service is to rural Thailand).

My realtor assures me that historically, October is the BIG MONTH for closings. Fingers crossed.

October 10, 2013 - NVC has our case, Vancouver number assigned

***Communications with Vancouver begging to put my case on hold a while due to house not selling!!!***

February 20, 2014 - Packet 4!!

May 5, 2014 - Medical

May 7, 2014 - Consulate Interview

May 13, 2014 - K1 visa in hand!!!

Just remember that your POE can essentially be 10 months from now even w/out an extension. :)

Lol yeah. I may be waiting though to book the consular appointment and medical until I have the danged house sold. Once the snow flies, the likelihood of the house selling goes down.

Just checked our case status! Soo happy!!

On August 20, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

11/09/2016 - i-751 sent

11/14/2016 - NOA1

12/08/2016 - Biometrics

06/04/2018 - i-751 approved
