Jesse thinks sooner, he's shocked I'm planning a trip down in October to see him since shouldn't I be down there or near to it then?

I think if I'm down there by Christmas it'll be a bloody miracle.

It's government. And consulates. They'll take how long they take. I've come to the realization they work on their own time (though my experiences were business related with Latin American countries...) but still. You can't go by any timeline. It'll take how long it takes, and hopefully my house will sell before then.

Just looked on Igor's list today and saw a June filer was approved yesterday. Must have been expedited?! Anyway good for them! It looks like the majority of people getting their NOA2 filed in April.

06/27/2013 - Received hard copy of NOA1 in the post

10/10/2013 - Called DOS and got NVC case number (no notifications to say it had been sent)

10/11/2013 - NVC sent case to consulate

10/17/2013 - Consulate received

10/23/2013 - Packet 3 received

10/31/2013 - DS 160 Application submitted and sent to the embassy via post11/06/2013 - Fiance has medical

12/16/2013 - Embassy Interview, Approved!

06/04/2014 - POE Seattle SEATAC airport

07/05/2014 - I-485 and EAD received

08/29/2014 - Advance Parole approved

bloody house STILL hasn't sold..grr...though on the bright side my realtor is FINALLY advertising it in some local papers. which hits the street today. so...*fingers crossed*

Not at all! I think we are in the same boat as we want to have X amount of savings before we head over! (I'm living abroad with my fiance)
