Hi,

First thank you everyone for your advise and guidance, I sincerely appreciate it. When I look at the embassy information for Algeria it says that the k1 visa package is emailed. I just want to verify that, should my fiancé expect an email, or a package in the regular mail? When I look online https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx it says that our case has been ready since May 23, and to date he has not received anything. If it is just emailed I am worried that he has not received it. Should he email the embassy and ask for the status? I don't want to do anything that would upset them...Please advisegoofy.gif

yes you can e-mail the embassy to get the status of your case.. When our case was send to the embassy I e-mailed them after 2 days and asked them if they have received our case and when would we be getting the packet 3? They responded back to me right away saying that they had the case and they would be e-mailing the packet 3 to us in a few weeks. which they did in 2 weeks. It don't hurt to ask them for a status.
