Adobe reader question

I'm having trouble editing any new downloads. On some forms it wont let me save anything, I have to print it out or lose all my info. Anyone else having this problem?

are you using acrobat from inside the browser, or as a stand-alone instance ?

Suggest you hire a teenager for a coupla hours, to check your PC and walk you through some configuration issues.

hehe, yes...I didn't have any problems until the new windows update...grrr. a computer geek I am not thanks anyways

Try a different web browser; Firefox or Chrome. IE seems to cause issues at times.

Oh and one more thing before trying other browsers, uninstall Adobe, restart your computer then install the newest version of Adobe and give it another try. The windoze update may have changed a few things

sorry, if you are using a recent OS, is quite possible the security settings for downloads is totally out of whack.

please check the file attributes of the pdf file you are trying to edit - if it is marked 'read-only' - flip the bit and remove that attribute. Then try a quick edit.

If you are editing the file inside of a web-browser - I don't know what to tell you. I refuse to 'do that' almost 10 years now. It's evil, wicked, mean and nasty and I gave it up for Lent almost 10 years now.
