Hi Guys, It's Larry. I finally have everything together and hopefully sending them off on Monday. My next question as I'm putting them together is about my stepson's I-130. What I'm wondering is do they need all the evidence and affidavits as I'm sending it all that with his mothers in the same package. I'm thinking I just need to send.

1. I-130

2. Copy my birth cert

3. Copy of his birth cert

4. My G-325a

5. My Photo

6. His G-325a

7. His photo

8. His Leave to Remove from the United Kingdom courts

9. Also I'm thinking maybe a few pictures of him and I together and other family members, Fishing, ect.. There are pics of him with us at the wedding as he handed his mother over to me for the wedding.

. Please advise if different. Thank you, Larry

As i recall, we sent USA GC/LPR Card from wife, birth certified translation (Chinese), G-1145 he was under 21 not married. We received our I797c within a couple of weeks listing him as 203 A2A in a minor child of LPR, photo will not hurt in my opinion. We have heard nothing since 3/8/2012. Good Luck.

Could not paste the following: USCIS k2 instructions.

You need to establish the stepparent relationship by showing you married his mother and it was before his 18th birthday. Dont depend on USCIS to find evidence needed in another person's Petition. There is a guide for stepfather here http://www.visajourney.com/content/childpet

Check it out.

They are not chasing a K-2 visa for the stepson, bigdog.

Were you chasing an IR-2 for your stepson, with you as the petitioner, or no ?

Step children do not need G-325A

Read the I-130 instructions! ;)

You need to establish that he is your step son, not that you have a relationship with him. Copy of marriage certificate, copy of his birth certificate, any divorce certificates and whatever establishes you as USC. That's it.

Here I circled it for you. :D
