Good news to report June-ers. Got a letter in the mail yesterday saying our petition was APPROVED!! Weird tho, I didn't get an email/text update notifying me of a change thru USCIS. I even checked the

Hello,

I just joined VJ a few minutes ago because of a google search about a CRI89 notification I received in the mail about it being transferred to California Service Center after I filed at Vermont Service Center.

I applied for the ROC on 10/18/13

NOA received on 10/21/13

Biometrics appointment is scheduled on 11/25/13

The thing that's boggling my mind is that the transfer notice is dated 11/18/13

How is it possible that it says CRI89 Approved Removal of Conditions in the case type and I still haven't done my biometrics???

Oct 18 2013 - mailed my package
Oct 21 2013 - received NOA1

Oct 23 2013 - check deposited
Nov 18 2013 - CRI89 transferred to California Service Center

Nov 25 2013 - Biometrics in Metarie, LA

I called the service center on Monday this week as it had been just over 5 months with no updates or touches. Unfortunately, they wouldn't give me any information as I was not the applicant and my husband was not with me at the time to speak with them. But, not even 20 minutes later we received a text and email that he was approved and card production had been ordered. I guess they had just forgotten about us! laughing.gifkicking.gif

05/17/2010 – Petition mailed to USCIS via certified return receipt.
05/27/2010 – NOA1 issued
06/03/2010 – Touch/NOA1 hard copy received in US Mail
10/27/2010 – 5 month mark
10/28/2010 – Spoke to USCIS representative – 'still pending'
11/04/2010 – Spoke to USCIS representative – 'still pending', but service request generated
11/05/2010 – Notified that background checks are not complete - looks like we're in for a looong wait...
12/07/2010 – Received email notification of NOA2
12/16/2010 – NVC sent the case to Embassy in Malawi
02/28/2011 – Interview
03/14/2011 – VISA APPROVED!
05/04/2011 – Fiance and I came back to the U.S. together! smile.png
07/01/2011 – Married!

01/13/2011- RFE Replied Date
02/16/2011- AP Approval Date
02/23/2011- EAD Approval Date
02/28/2011- AP and EAD Received
08/03/2011- Got e-mail notification for an Interview for September 7th 2011!!!!
08/05/2011- Received appointment letter(hard copy)for Interview. 09/07/2011 at Garden City!
09/07/2011- Interview @10 am APPROVED!!!! PASSPORT STAMPED!!!
09/07/2011- Card/ Document Production Ordered
09/12/2011- Welcome letter received
09/20/2011- GREEN CARD RECEIVED!!!!

Hey all,

Just wondering if the remaining 6 (excluding me), who weren't approved yet, have heard something about their case?

It's only 7 left and its almost 6 months already.

P.S

I got a letter that requires my an my wife's signatures. My attorney said that they just needed a new form.
