WOOHOOOO!!!!! Today I received my new Green Card on the mail!!!!!! It came on a flat rate mailing USPS Envelope, with a big barcode tracking number, so I checked on usps.com and it was mailed from Corbin, KY.

I am very happy, I can not stop looking at my new card, Thanks God!!!!

My husband also received his new green card today! Awesome! Nice to be done already. smile.png

Next step, on to citizenship! tongue.png I don't know if he'll want to apply for that next year, but I think he will want to before his 10 year green card expires, since we have talked about citizenship and he wants to become a citizen eventually. But we'll see what our money situation will be like next year, we are planning to move to California next year and I will be going to college there. So if next year is not good money wise, at least he can become a citizen anytime after that. smile.png

USCIS sent a email tonight with tracking information for our green card. However the email did not give the tracking number. They have an error that leaves the number out of the email. The email states: "The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on September 16, 2013. The USPS tracking number assigned is #DCN. You can use this number at <a href="https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?origTrackNum=#DCN" target="_blank">www.usps.com</a> to view updates to the delivery status of your mail. You should receive your new card within 7 days...." If you get a letter like this. Go to USCIS.Gov and enter your Receipt Number in the My Case Status. The tracking number is given there. Copy it, visit USPS.com and enter the number.

hmm Im getting impatient lol. No updates since the transfer to CSC.. Im wondering if the people who got transferred are at the bottom of the pile.. just anxious. but Im thinking (hopefully) that if they were going to send us an RFE, they'd have sent it by now.. I hope :) trying to keep positive and patient.

CONGRATULATIONS BB&MM!!!!

I think that, in about 1 week, you will receive an email or SMS Text saying that USCIS order production of your new card, and another email/text once they mail your green card, this happend to me and to others june approved biggrin.png
