Good news to report June-ers. Got a letter in the mail yesterday saying our petition was APPROVED!! Weird tho, I didn't get an email/text update notifying me of a change thru USCIS. I even checked the

Wow 10 VSC filers were transfered to VSC. I wonder if there are any criteria for them to transfer some or just pick randomly.

Random...they are overloaded so grab a pile, stick them in a box to CSC and be done with them. They really don't have time to screen anything. VSC has never had the capacity (or approval rate) that CSC does.

I have the feeling that in the future, they will change the states of each center so CSC will receive packages from more states to avoid these tranfers. But it also depends on populations/immigrants of each state.

I have the feeling that in the future, they will change the states of each center so CSC will receive packages from more states to avoid these tranfers. But it also depends on populations/immigrants of each state.

Perhaps...I know they send I-130s to service centers based on load. I'm not sure why they handle I-751s geographically. My theory is that loads are unpredictable since new immigrant visa petitions can suddenly swamp a service center. They certainly have the information available to predict maximum I-751 loads at any service center, though I'm not sure they use that information.

Just got an e-mail status update on my case:

The CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I need to update my as well.My case was transfered to California Service Center from VSC on 08/22.Also i just realized that my original receipt date was 06/19 and on my transfer notice it's 06/20.I hope it's not a big deal.I am just worried that since they transferring things around I hope all the information is correct.
