I recieved a notice that i have an interview in exactly 3 weeks. Late june.

My in-law is my joint sponsor because my wife's income doesn't meet the poverty level. Wife & i submitted her 2012 transcript, & our joint sponsor's 2011 transcript. We applied for AOS before the April 15th deadline for filing federal returns, so we used his 2011 transcript. I believe this was fine because here we are preping for an interview. My question is : do we have to bring a 2012 copy of my in-law's (joint sponsor) tax transcript to the interview ?. When we filled the I-864 we provided proof that he has made enough money for the last 3 years to cover us financially. Is it manditory to bring his 2012 transcript ? Does one face denial for not having this with them ?

i think u have to. i know couple of people that applied for AOS before the irs filing deadline and they submitted the 2011 tax trancript but were later on given RFE to submit the 2012. and i know of another guy that they requested for it during the interview. i would say you should try and get the most recent transcript (2012) am sure the last thing u want is for them to delay ur approval. best of luck

I would bring either the current transcript(s) or full returns, good luck on your interview. I would bring everything, we did but did not need much and anything you have gathered you did not submit.
