Were you getting close to the 60 days after transfer? A lot of people seem to get RFEs for things they've actually already sent when the USCIS feel their backs are against the wall.

It's unlikely to be anything huge, and you should be able to send it right out as soon as you get the notice. Good luck! Once they get it, it should only take another week or two!

Oh ok thank you! Hopefully it takes no longer than two weeks for them to approve. It had been 39 days since transfer to be exact.

NoelAnne, congrats, but don't forget to keep supporting our campaigns!

Don't worry dude, I'll be checking in for quite a while to keep up to date with how everyone is getting on. So many of you have been such a help, Kaylara, LoveMyTico, etrangais, BOS_LHR, Blueberry Pancake, yourself, to name but a few. Hope you all get your approvals soon and we can catch up on NVC very soon. Keep up with all the campaigns!

So happy to see SOMETHING coming out of TSC for June. I'm at the end of June, and figured I was toast for at least another month. Maybe not!

NoelAnne, I also love your picture. Being another ....ahem.... mature couple, I'm happy to see that love really doesn't matter how old you are!

Finally. I got 4 text messages this evening:

"On January 27, 2014, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

Another step but hopefully this will be faster than the first batch. Please wish us well.-reading.gifdancin5hr.gif

found out today that the USCIS only needs my passport and my birth certificate. Apparently my birth certificate had a tear in it and they needed the original size and I had the wallet and I guess my passport wasn't clear enough ether. So I got a original size birth certificate from the health department and along with the passport and I scanned them and emailed them to myself. tomorrow I will print that passport picture in color and I will send that original birth certificate to my attorneys by mail. So its not too bad or difficult of a problem. THANK GOD! Then sit back and wait for an approval!!!

I'm glad it's not a difficult RFE for you, sounds like they're being a bit picky to me but at least you can get the documents right back in the mail to them! Good luck, I hope you have a speedy approval ahead.

USCIS likes to send a lot of text/email notifications. Sit tight and don't let these texts worry you, this deluge of notices has been common among transfers but the content of them isn't accurate. Since you received the first notification yesterday, hopefully you'll have the hard copy by the end of this week, and that will tell you where your petition has actually been transferred to (California, Nebraska, or Texas).

ROC Timeline

04/06/2016 - Mailed I-751

04/07/2016 - NOA1

04/13/2016 - Check cashed

04/14/2016 - NOA1 hardcopy

05/04/2016 - Received biometric notice

05/16/2016 - Biometrics appointment

05/17/2017 - Approved

05/22/2017 - Card in Production
