I noticed something weird though. I put around 40 receipt numbers ahead of me and around 30 of them were approved either 21st or 22nd jan except me and 2 more ahead of me. It made me so upset that why was I left without any approval but hopeful at the same time.

I honestly don't think checking receipt numbers is a useful measure of when to expect action on your case. You might be in the same group as the numbers ahead of you, you might be in a different one assigned to a different adjudicator. You might have an entirely different petition type than the receipt numbers around you. I see a lot of people driving themselves crazy checking these numbers online, but it just doesn't seem to be an accurate predictor for anything. Hang in there, hoping you see some movement soon.

Yes I guess u r right. I did that for the first time and I have been feeling so depressed since yesterday. Will try to refrain from doing that from now on lol

How do you know they are working fast on April now?

This week I saw quite a few approvals in april thread and all were from Nebraska.

Case filed- 3rd June 2013

NOA1- 6-6-2013

Well today I got a call from the congresman office joe garcia that is handling my case and told me that they did the inquirie on my case and they wore told that in less than 30 days fronm the 23 of jaunary I should get an notice of action ....

This notice very, very commonly precedes an approval. And I mean, within a matter of a day or two. I think you're almost there!
