BOS_LHR, :high five: :D

Nona, thanks for the update, I will add it the next time I copy the list. I figured one on each page is enough, just somewhere so it is easier to see progress than going through the whole chit chatty thread looking for individual case updates :)

Ivy, i would recommend adding the list to your first post of this entire thread. Easier for all to look up

Yeah, that would be great, but I can not edit the post myself. sad.png We would need to ask a moderator and have them update it every now and then. Do you think they'd do it?

Anyone flying to see their spouses this summer? My husband is boarding a plane today afternoon and he will be here tomorrow. <3

In the interview-related threads they just post updated list after each update, so it's fairly close to the end of thread and everyone knows it's there. Maybe you could reuse this approach too. :) Otherwise the mods would have to edit your post every time there's an update.

I'm the beneficiary.

Where in Russia is your wife? There are more American-Russian couples here than i thought there would be. :) My husband wants to come over in August if he can make it with his work arrangements and next trip after that will hopefully be for the interview.

That's funny, I would've thought Russia would be one of the top countries for green cards (or so goes the unfortunate stereotype), but actually it's near the bottom here on the site. We can stick together!

It's good that your husband can come - I unfortunately couldn't convince my wife that the big, bad CBP actually isn't that interested in what she's doing.

That means I'll be flying again to visit her - she lives in Moscow (Lyubertsy to be exact). What about you?

It's ok though, I like spending time in Moscow, and if I had been able to find a job there, it likely would've been our first option instead of waiting on the US government to do its thing. DCF or filing from abroad is completely painless from what I can tell, with very little time apart.

Oh, i'm the Russian side actually. :) So he is in fact flying to Moscow. It's just he has a more flexible work schedule than i do and this is also so i can spend more time with my family while i'm still here because i won't be seeing them so often when i relocate.

I don't think we'd consider living in Russia as the first option, regardless of his work options though. Don't tell anyone i've told you but it's becoming tougher here (har har, politics-wise). And also i don't like winters here anyway. :)

Have you already checked out the RUB sub-forum? About stereotypes though - i think the majority of such petitions are with American husbands and Russian wives. So a part of it works out but yes, there aren't so many by the looks of it.

I'm the beneficiary.

It's not 'good or bad', it's pretty much the same for everyone now. They mostly reroute petitions to field offices anyway.
