Hello All,

I got email today that my case is transferred some where but don't know here ;( how to get to know this ?

On **************, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I am confuse please tell me, do I have to wait for 6 months again ? please please ? I am very confused

Mine Date was June 03 13 is it good or bad please .please please tell me ?

that was a good sign.were both same date and mine was tranferred 3 x and Thanks God that it was approved last Dec.6,2013.So you will approve soon.Good luck to all who waiting for the approval.

My PD also 10 JUNE but no transfer yet ?

Where you from iffatnasim? Which centre NBC or others?

U will be getting a tranfer in couple of days..im sure..

I just received 2 emails stating the our case got transferred to a local field office and that they will review and make a decision. Our NOA1 date was June 6. Filled from US normal. No expedite. I am a USC my wife is from El Salvador.

Here is the email

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On December 19, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

Does any here know how long does it take for them to make a decision ? I live in California

Your location doesn't matter from this point onward. The "local office" message is a red herring; your petition will be sent to either the Nebraska, Texas, or California Service Center based on which center has the lowest workload. You'll find out where your petition was sent when you receive your hardcopy letter. Other VJ members have reported receiving a notice stating their petition will be adjudicated within 60 days of transfer. You can check out the transfer spreadsheets for March and April filers to see how long it's taking them to be processed at each center, hopefully that will give you a better idea.

It's so weird I got an email saying our case got moved dec 18th and then today I received another email that we got moved December 19th.... That's just confusing!

Recieved second email of transfer waiting for third email and hard copy. California California. Btw they post first transfers after 8 pm.

I just got news. Our case transferred to "another office."

At this point, I'm taking any news as good news.

Well my PD is June 5th and I was starting to feel left out with all of these cases being transferred because I haven't received any emails about my case (and I check constantly) but then I noticed someone mention that I won't receive an email because the form I sent in with my I-130 is only for the NOA-1 and I was supposed to re-file for e-notification, so I checked my case status.... and booya it says my case was transferred to my local office!!! Gotta love that news!!!
