I think they do that in purpose to again play with the new USCIS timeline update of the I-130

It is supposed to be updated this week and we shall see what kind of BS they will come up with.

I just hope that they don't just move to 13 Feb 2013 to avoid all kind of service requests from people that are past that time.

I read on a post somewhere based on an inquiry they're updating it from Feb to April 2013

but we'll have to wait & see

That would be awesome for most people still waiting! BUT:

this will open a whole can of worms of service requests and inquiries which will delay the slow process even more.

This is bitter sweet news, but let's hope for the best.

No someone posted their senator had written back to them I read it this week saying they're processing April and the processing times would be updated next week.

But like I said we would have to wait and see if that's actually true -.-

Finally!!!

Our cast was touched and will be send to another office dancin5hr.gif

Today we had the following update:

"On December 11, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."

June filers get ready to see some action (hopefully)!!!!

Congratulation!!

I got NOA1 on Jun 13, and I got same email on exactly same day with you.

Then I got an another email on Dec 14 as below.

The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: MSC139131XXXX

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Initial Review

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

June 10th filer here. Got an email on Wednesday, December 11 saying that our I-130 petition was transferred to a local office. My husband and I both live in the UK and have decided to file DCF and we had to send in a letter requesting our current I-130 in the US be cancelled but it appears they have not processed our request yet and our I-130 in the US is still active.

2013-22-05: Sent I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

2013-10-06: NOA1 received - Petition at Overland Park, Kansas

2013-11-12: Email stating our I-130 has been transferred to a local USCIS Office

2013-13-12: Email stating our I-130 was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Have now decided to do DCF through the London Embassy:

2013-22-10: Overnighted a second I-130 to London

2013-24-10: NOA1

2013-21-11: Letter requesting that we cancel our I-130 petition filed in the U.S.

2013-09-12: NOA2

WEIRD THINGS!

NOA1 Filing June 13, with Philippines beneficiary -- This morning I received three separate text messages from USCIS. One at 4:14 am pst, One at 7:00 am pst and finally one at 8:14 am pst. The final one says this:

On December 16, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

I have read other VJ posts two different scenarios 1) many people received this just before an approval. 2) one guy received an RFE.

Either way ... I am very satisfied.
