USPS site says it was delivered yesterday, but it still shows estimated delivery date as today. I've decided to ignore that :D

Hehe! Awesome. Can't trust any of these governmental agencies to report accurately, can we? laughing.gif Wishing you a speedy NOA1!

Every time I look at my timeline, the prediction dates at the bottom get further away. :(

Right now we are on "by Nov 23rd". What does your timeline say, guys?

I am hoping we might get NOA 2 on Dec 2nd, that will be my birthday. :D We started with NOA 1 on his birthday, it seems only fitting to match it with NOA 2 on my birthday :D

How about creating a list of people who sent their I130s in June? We could include links to our timelines and follow each other easier through that list?

Ours too :( Initially VJ churned out an adjudication estimate of mid-October; now that's the best case scenario and it goes out as far as November 11. Blah! Still, we were ready for ~6 months, so if we can get our NOA2 by the end of the year I will try to keep my grumbles to a minimum tongue.png

Is anyone else already strategizing next (pre-NOA2) steps? Things like calling to find out if a transfer to your field office has happened, etc. I was thinking with our NOA1 of June 12 I might give USCIS a call at the end of July to see whether we've been shuffled along or not. Has anyone read of people having luck getting actual processing estimates from their field office, maybe through an InfoPass appointment? I know Boston isn't going to be great but I wish I had some better idea than that to go by. I've never been so interested in statistics in my life! rofl.gif

My timeline is here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=148265.

Okay, let's try this out:

NOA 1 ..................... Nickname ................ Timeline Link ................ Local Field Office (Name + Y/N) .....................RFE ..................... NOA 2

June 12th, 2013 .......BOS_LHR .................... Timeline ................................... Boston (?) ........................................... ----- ........................... -----

June 24th, 2013 .............Ivy. ......................... Timeline ............................... San Antonio (?) ....................................... ----- ........................... -----

How does this seem?

Yeah, by end of the year is okay. I originally thought it might be between Christmas and Valentines Day so this prediction from VJ was a nice surprise.

I will be in the US end of Aug/Sept so I was thinking of having my husband call one day in September (when he has a day off so I can eavesdrop biggrin.png) and ask if NBC is dealing with this, or if it was sent to our local office. Our local office got SUPER busy with I130's last year so I don't know if it would be good to end up there...

Edited by Ivy.

Hello, welcome to the thread! May I add you on the list? :D

We got our NOA in mail today. It says priority date is June 24th, notice date June 26th. I put the 24th as our NOA date on my timeline. Is that correct or should I put the 26th?

I put my notice date, June 5, but the priority/receive date was June 3. It's just 2 days, which probably won't skew the stats too bad wink.png

I think I've read priority date is more relevant to non-family visa types -- it indicates when a visa should become available, but as there's no limit on the number visas granted to immediate relatives, priority date won't matter to us. I used the notice date on my hardcopy as NOA1.

I am a fellow June filer (got my NOA-1 on June 10). Been stalking earlier months and a lot of February filers are beginning to get their NOA-2's which is like 4 to 5 month wait but it looks like a few may have been at the NYC office.

I've seen a few filers from earlier in the year get their NOA-2 in like 2 to 3 months, I hope I'm one of these lucky ones! Our main address is our address here in the UK so I've heard this can help.

I know I need to be patient and should just be thankful that we are actually together through this process but I'm so home sick and ready to start our lives!

2013-22-05: Sent I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

2013-10-06: NOA1 received - Petition at Overland Park, Kansas

2013-11-12: Email stating our I-130 has been transferred to a local USCIS Office

2013-13-12: Email stating our I-130 was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Have now decided to do DCF through the London Embassy:

2013-22-10: Overnighted a second I-130 to London

2013-24-10: NOA1

2013-21-11: Letter requesting that we cancel our I-130 petition filed in the U.S.

2013-09-12: NOA2

Yeah, this is how I feel too. It seems like my whole life is on hold all the time for this reason or that reason. Finishing school, which at this point I despise, get this visa, which annoys me and excites me at the same time... I am planning for a life that is not happening. I picked a car I wanna get when I move to the US. My husband will help me and cosign the loan if we will be able to afford it. We already have baby names. I want a hamster. Lol stuff like that :)

I hope you get NOA quickly because you are filing from abroad!

Yup. If you're living together abroad, your odds of getting through USCIS in basically half the time are very good.
