Your wife can visit if she has a tourist visa. It is unlikely she will get one now if she does not already have it though.

Hey Ivy :) Completely empathize with the need to distance yourself from VJ, it's no fun at the moment. I hope you're doing all right! I wouldn't worry about updating the list, everything's such chaos now anyway. It'll be great to keep track if/when our service center transfers start rolling in, but I'd guess that's another month away.

It's not clear how many files will be transferred, but it seems like NBC is currently focused on moving petitions rather than processing them. February and March files have been transferred, and as of yesterday, April filers are reporting transfers too. I think it's entirely likely that June petitions will be sent to service centers, but there's nothing we can do except wait and see.

Their standard IDIOTIC answers - been through this before

One time they told me a year for a date I was checking on and it cam through in 2 months

They are the biggest group of morons when it comes to customer service

They are worse than calling Apple or ATT customer support --- and they are the king of poor service.

OH MAY THE LORD HEAR YOU!!!! MAY IT COME IN WITHIN THE NEXT 3 MONTHS! IM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!

A Lottt of activity in the April filers page people. I think around 10 plus got transferred and few approvals even. All within one week. It's actually made me quite happy and a bit hopeful :)

Case filed- 3rd June 2013

NOA1- 6-6-2013

Case transferred to NBC- 12-18-2013

NOA2 finally- 4-23-2014

NVC received- 5-7-2014

Case number- 5-31-2014

DS-261- June 10th!

AOS sent- 3rd july

AOS scanned- 11th July

IV paid- 14th July

DS260 submitted- 17th July

IV sent: 19th July

IV scanned: 24th July

Checklist for AOS: Email received 3rd sept :cry:

Response sent: 7th sept

Checklist scanned: 11th sept

IV approved: 17 sept :dancing:

CASE COMPLETE: 4th nov 2014!!! (AT LAST)

Just read this, and I'm soooo angry!!

Hi everyone,
my fiance had sent the I-129F package on September 24. She recieved an email on September 28 that it had been received.
yesterday she received another email saying the I-129F has been approved.

On November 15, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

we received the confirmation in less than 2 months. That seems faster than normal. Maybe we are lucky. So what do we expect next and what all documents should we gather for the interview?

Now I don't begrudge this persons speedy approval but I sure as hell expect my husband's petition to be dealt with in the same way!!!!

The way uscis deals with the petitions is not fair at all! Smh

Is that for a K1 visa?

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

There's been some K1 approvals that have been less than a month, really don't see why they can't just pull some resources away from K1 and towards 1-130 adjudication it's hugely frustrating.

There I was an approval on the 15th for a July filer. The approval was from NBC.

No, he was not a DCF nor an expedite. Just a regular filer.

So it sounds like the NBC is approving petitions now

11/17/2016: Got engaged
