Can someone orient me a bit on the Expedite process? I want to expedite our case but have no clue how to do it... I went to check for the USCIS expedite criteria but I do not know what they would consider a "SEVERE FINANCIAL LOSS" to individual or company... Of course if I leave for extended amounts of time the company that I work for will lose money... I WILL LOOSE MONEY TOO! lol but I have no Idea how to go about it... can someone help me a bit?

I moved back to Los Angeles late August and sent a letter to overland park for changing my husband address in France. now it is saying his address is changed on uscis site.

I am flying back to see my husband next monday, but can stay only a week.

i am wondering if anyone got approval from overland park? 11 month is too long.

Ohhh honey I wish it was 11 months from when we filed! I just called USCIS last monday and they told me approximately 8 more months to resolve something if not more.... :'( I was about to burst out in tears!!!!!

Yesterday had some late March transfers and a pair of April 1 as well. I guess it's progress. It's tough to get excited when so few approvals are coming through, and we wont' be able to see the service center data online for another two months. Being past the 5 month processing mark has me feeling pretty worn down. My congressman's office is making an inquiry for me and all I'm hoping is that they come back with an idea of whether my petition will be transferred out of NBC or not. Either way I don't expect any action until the new year.

That's awesome :) I think there've been a couple scattered approvals like that around VJ as well, but with most of March still waiting on their NOA2, it just seems like a long slog ahead.

hi guys ,

i have a question while we r pending on my i130 , is there any way if my wife can visit from india to usa ?

She can visit the US under the VWP (Visa Waiver Program) if India is one of the countries granted that condition.

There is always a risk that the inmigration officer at the airport will not let her in because he may consider she is going to stay in the US. However, if she proves she still has ties with India (ticket flight back to India, a job, house rented....) she can prove she does not want to migrate yet. But there is always a risk..... good luck.

Your wife can visit if she has a tourist visa. It is unlikely she will get one now if she does not already have it though.

Btw, hi everyone.

I kinda disappeared. I had to. Stuff was going on. Being on this board was not helping me mentally. :( Still doesn't probably, but hey, I gotta stop by and say Hi :D

Anyway, should I redo/update the list now again?

It's tough because if she enters under a tourist visa they can always claim that it was fraud that you guys got married... That is what my immigration counselor told me so he doesn't recommend that... I'm talking that this guy was the head honcho of immigration in the port of entry where I live near and he saw that happen many times... :(

I called USCIS last Monday and they told me not to expect anything until 8 months from know...

Their standard IDIOTIC answers - been through this before

One time they told me a year for a date I was checking on and it cam through in 2 months

They are the biggest group of morons when it comes to customer service

They are worse than calling Apple or ATT customer support --- and they are the king of poor service.
