This thread is for the CR-1/IR-1, which is a different type of visa than what you've applied for. You might find more relevant information to your situation in the F-1 subforum :) That being said... receiving an RFE doesn't reset the clock on your processing time. If they ask you for more information and you send what's required, your approval shouldn't be too far behind.

Thank you so much! I will look there. Good luck everyone! :)

October 2009: we met.

To reach a USCIS representative, you need to call between 8am - 6pm (for most areas), local time. There are several routes to reach a CSR, depending on your situation. For example, if you have a specific question with regard to your case status, you can follow the steps below:

  • Call 1-800-375-5283;
  • Press 1 to continue in English;
  • Press 1 for immigration services;
  • Press 1 to check the status of an application;
  • Press 2 if you don't know your receipt number;(i press 2 )
  • Press 2 to connect to a USCIS representative;

any approvals for june filers?

June filer here. Nope, still nothing on ours. Although I really don't expect anything until at least January. I still keep checking our status everyday.....just in case. ClockWatch2.gif It's just depressing how long this wait is.....we didn't expect to have to wait this long. Would be even more depressed if we didn't have VJ! At least we can keep ourselves informed.

Please explain how this is possible. Unless by "some", you mean "a very lucky random 5% of June filers", this has no basis in reality.
