Just getting more and more depressing by every passing day! :( mid oct is here and no news

NOA1- 6-6-2013

Case transferred to NBC- 12-18-2013

NOA2 finally- 4-23-2014

NVC received- 5-7-2014

Case number- 5-31-2014

Just getting more and more depressing by every passing day! :( mid oct is here and no news

It's understandable that you get depressed. Before I used to get more anxious and depressed as I read stuff on VJ but ever since I decided not to let it affect me I'm feeling a lot better about it. Relax... Just think that every day is 1 day closer to be with your significant other forever. Yes I know it's hard to hear "relax" but honestly that's what we all need to do. :) I spoke to my immigration counselor today and he said that I should be receiving my NOA2 within 30 days (we are still within parameters). :)

Ohh yes been there! It feels like for ever and then you start doubting whether they will or won't grant the visa! :/

A little off-topic here, but does anyone know if VJ sends some sort of "alert" (via email?) to users who seem to not be updating their timeline? Would be great to have even more accurate processing timelines.

I'm a June filer, I have a Facebook group for wives like myself and we've had three I- 130 approvals. The latest being a May filer(Dawnalee in October)Check out her timeline. So it's not taking 13.3 months by their count. I'll post if we receive any more this month.
