Well, supposedly the Overland Park Division 8 area dedicated to processing stand-alone I-130s has been operational for at least one week. I know not all petitioners are on VJ, but don't you think they would have approved some this week? I know BOS_LHR runs stats a lot...have we seen any I-130s approvals from this week (that would have been at the Overland Park facility)???

There haven't been any approvals from an individual that had an NOA1 out of Overland Park. That being said, the AILA attorney I got in touch with said she expects Lee's Summit petitions to be forward to the new office, so we won't know for sure who did the adjudication until those individuals get their hard copy NOA2. I think we'll have to sit tight through this month, too, before we can make any good guesses at what's going on.

Yeah, although I couldn't begrudge it if the Lee's Summit petitions are transferred and processed ahead of ours... I feel so awful for the people who have been waiting 6+ months and still haven't received their NOA2. The AILA attorney's comment about the transfer seemed to be based on the geographical closeness of the two offices, but she didn't have any hard facts. I don't think anything will be revealed for certain until the Oct 31 meeting but we may at least have a better guess once those hard copy NOA2s roll in.

Can't wait to see the transcript from the next AILA/USCIS conference! I'm sure USCIS is going to get clobbered over this issue!

It's not supposed to directly affect the USCIS, but my step-mother who works in the government said perhaps an accessory of the USCIS could have been affected therefore affecting USCIS. She gave the example that there's people who were not furloughed, but the person who is supposed to sign their time sheet was. So therefore no one can work!

I saw someone else on a April NOA1 thread randomly started entering MSC#'s in their range to get info and I thought I'd give it a try.

MSC1390787999 - March 14 - and the subsequent March 15 dates still seem to all be initial review. The #'s before that start showing interview times and approvals.

Not sure if that's good news or bad and not sure if it's from Overland Park or not.

Assuming it's about right, only half a million people ahead of me

Not to be petty but apparently in the Phoenix center NOA1 -> NOA2 is down to TWO F-ING WEEKS!!! And how many of people have petitions waiting at Overland Park since April? Sheesh.

Was just looking at April filers and see that lots of people suggest filing a 129f as approval times for 130s have really slowed down. Although we did file a 129f its not showing on our timeline or Igors list even though I did put the details on when I registered. Can't find how to add it. Can someone help me with this?
