False Alarm. No approvals from Overland park.

It is possible that the March/April approvals were from Overland park ( The files might have moved from Lee's Summit to Overland, Who knows and who will ever know that).

It was a false alarm.

I FEEL TERRIBLE. Sorry to anyone I mislead...

As said on another thread, I need to take a break from Visa Journey I am starting to hallucinate...

Thank you all and SORRY AGAIN...

Most may filers have got their approval in august, September. Believe me it is our turn now.

Any vigilant VJ'er with a pending I-130 knows this is far from the truth. Half of February petitioners are still waiting for NOA2! Meanwhile, March and April filers are largely untouched, not to mention that the number of approved May filers can be counted on one hand! Just look at the number of approvals here from August and September! Eleven approvals of I-130s on VJ across the board, and those petitioners filed in Nov. ~ April. Yes, you read that figure correctly. Eleven (11). Among them not a single May approval. In August, there were only 17 approved.

On a positive note, our luck seems to have changed. I-130s are moving again. Six have been approved so far this week, putting VJ on pace for 50 this month. Perhaps our constant congressional inquiries helped bring attention to the backlog, or perhaps they have run out of storage space. rofl.gif Can USCIS continue to process I-130s at breakneck speed? Wait and see. eb0dfafc.gif

Edit: The number of approved May filers can be counted on one finger. rofl.gif

There's only not even 1% of the May filers registered here on VJ. Maybe 0.2%? I took my time and checked all those April+May+June filers on USCIS with the receipt numbers. (Yeah I did really) I didn't see a lot approval for April but I saw a lot of approvals for May and many of them were approved in July, August, September. Doesn't it mean it is coming towards us June filers? dancin5hr.gif

That's dedication! For sure, something doesn't seem to gel here. Though VJ is a very small sample, it's usually an in-the-ballpark figure. Are you sure those were all I-130 petitions? MSC receives other kinds of petitions and applications that process much quicker. Perhaps you saw what's listed here?

Yes a lot and a lot of people don't know about VJ website. Of course I know there were several other forms but I was only interested in I-130.

Hmm...in this case, it's really encouraging! Perhaps I'll do a little hunting with your method as well.

I wish this were true (May 6 PD here), but when I look at the numbers around my MSC number I see next to no approvals. And I have checked quite a few as well.

You have no way of knowing what exactly they were filing for from the USCIS site. Looking at random numbers gives one no information whatsoever. On VJ when i look at Igor's list i see 0 approvals from May for IR-1/CR-1 from NBC. So check your facts.

I'm the beneficiary.

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.
