i was reading where back ground checks can take up to 3years....................... are these people for real?

Yes I also read something about this but it says it depends if the name is common and there is a similar or exact name on their list of persona non grata. Pray hard it doesn't take that long if your still at that stage. No these people are mean nasty humans who couldn't find work anywhere else. At least the ones from the Embassies. So far USCIS and NVC have been very nice to me with exception of Miss Nasty Pants.

got a text this morning that my case was updated...check it and saw this

On April 19, 2014, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. i am just praying i get an approval as soon as i send whatever evidence they want

They must want proof of Bona fide marriage which is pictures, travel to see loved one, if you lived with your spouse rental agreement etc. My husband and I adopted two kittens from a Cairo shelter and we even sent that in. Also you can send in letters from friends and family to say they

know about the wedding or engagement even if they only talk to the other person on Skype. It will help a lot, good luck .

Atleast they looked at ur case! Hopefully u will get the approval soon now. I think I m the only one left they just don't wanna touch my file.

If your husband is in the USA or you not sure I read so much can't remember it all sorry. Have him or you call your Senator have them inquire why it's taking so long. They will answer you and if the person can go to the office and talk in person to the Senator or Congress person even better. At least they will know someone besides you is looking into it. Hugs to you I do know how you feel.

ok so couple of hours i recieve a text that my status was updated , so when i check they approved our kids i 130 petitions so happy and mine is RFE cant wait for my hubby to receive the hard copy to see what they want ...omg i thought this day would have never came...............thank u JESUS :joy:

How long has it been? Are you waiting for your I-130 to be approved? Have you called them?

Just a suggestion. Call and speak to a tier 2 and ask them to do an express message, they have to respond with in 5 days. Also try emailing Rendell Jones he will assign it and you will get a response in 2 weeks. I did both of these.
