so can my husband contact her and ask her to look into it why there is a hold up in the back ground check ?

I am not sure that you can directly contact to her.

However, the key point is that you should write a short impressive letter like a memorandum in business

We have a consultation with an immigration attorney on Friday and another infopass next week. We are also allowed to open another service request since the last one is coming up to 30 days with no response...

I started a timeline with everything we've done, day by day... It shows we did so much already, yet, they can't even take a moment to look if there was even a RfE in the first place.

The service request is useless from my experience.

Because they put an expedite request as service request if you ask them to do.

So, next time, tell them you are way out of the processing time and they will write an expedite request with no questions asked.

I hope it is soon for you...as of "anytime now" soon...

Its so funny that some time back I saw an approval in April thread and the guy got approved in like 10 months and he said that I got the approval but I m not happy at all. Because it should have happened way before. And I thought it my head that how can it be possible that someone is not happy with their approval. But that's exactly how I feel right now even thinking about it. I have no excitement or happiness left whatsoever. God knows when I m gonna get it but Its definitely gonna be bittersweet.

I think the "background check" is the most biggest concern that performs in other agency facility.

Since TSC approved my I-130 on 4-14-14, they sent out to NVC within 2 days which is today.

Their processing quality is fine.

The expedite request is useless too. 30 days are up today from expedite request with no word from them.

We had an expedited request too, and instead of sending us the copy of RfE as we requested so many times, they sent us a letter full of grammar errors and date mistakes to tell us the RfE was sent in October, but no word whatsoever on getting a copy.

got a text this morning that my case was updated...check it and saw this

On April 19, 2014, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Atleast they looked at ur case! Hopefully u will get the approval soon now. I think I m the only one left they just don't wanna touch my file.
