Yeah, a week ago today. Just waiting for an interview assignment now, which will be made in about 3 weeks for a date sometime in June. I'll say that between NOA2 and getting a case number were some of the hardest weeks for us, just emotionally... but after that things got much better. NVC is a smoother ride than USCIS by far. I really hope you breeze through at top speed.

Aww that's great! I m happy for u:) atleast I m right into thinking that if u r ready before then NVC doesn't take longer than 2 months in giving case complete after receiving the file. If I m not mistaken ur approval was in Jan and they recieved it mid jan. yeah hoping we don't have the worst luck in NVc like this lol.

Thank you :) It's crazy how unfair this process has been to so many. We've been lucky and it still will be a year start to finish. It's unacceptable that that's a best case scenario.

CSC shipping to NVC took 2 weeks, then it took another month to get our case number. Once we had that, though, things happened very quickly because we were ready for each step as it came. It took 38 days to get from receiving case number to case complete. Being prepared goes a long way at NVC!

Yes that's exactly what I was just thinking. That the luckiest ones from us got done in about an year. God knows what's gonna happen with the unluckiest ones like me lol! But I guess everything happens for the best. That's what I keep telling myself. God must have some reason.

No one still waiting has done anything wrong, nor are you deserving of what you're going through. I'm not sure if you guys have followed other monthly filer threads, but there was a member in the April thread who waited just over 11 months for her NOA2, and they were telling her for months beforehand that her case was caught up on background checks. There was nothing dubious about her past or her husband's, she hadn't done anything wrong with her filing, and there was no reason for it to take that long... that was just the excuse they were giving. None of us knows exactly what goes on at USCIS or why things have gone so badly wrong there, but it's nothing personal they have against anyone. It's just a very badly broken system. Even so, your time is coming. I know it feels impossible but it's inevitable.

Yeah I know u must be talking about lovemytico. I know she went thru horrible waiting too. But she got lucky in the end that her case number was assigned in just 11 days from NOA2 because of K3. So she kinda matched up with everybody and I m happy for her. I wish I had filed for k3 as well so I could have had better hopes. Everybody told me its useless so I told my husband not to waste time on it :(

Hmmm thanks. Went thru it. There isn't any criminal record or any fraud in our case. I m just being so paranoid right now I feel like something bad is gonna happen :( I really need some good news soon.

Call them, 1(800)375-5283 have your Receipt number ready to give them. If you don't get the answer you want ask for a supervisor.

Good luck and don't stop calling until they know you by your voice alone. ;)(F)
