We all started this journey together and I feel so left behind now. Really praying for an approval this week.

Case filed- 3rd June 2013

NOA1- 6-6-2013

Case transferred to NBC- 12-18-2013

NOA2 finally- 4-23-2014

NVC received- 5-7-2014

Case number- 5-31-2014

DS-261- June 10th!

AOS sent- 3rd july

AOS scanned- 11th July

IV paid- 14th July

DS260 submitted- 17th July

IV sent: 19th July

IV scanned: 24th July

Checklist for AOS: Email received 3rd sept :cry:

Response sent: 7th sept

Checklist scanned: 11th sept

IV approved: 17 sept :dancing:

Just a general observation.

It seems that many folks come into the conclusion that the USCIS or local center sends the case the very next day after NOA2.

i was under the same assumption until i checked the USCIS case update and saw the status changed to shipped to NVC(which was after 11 working days after NOA2)

Isn't it same for everyone that the case is send only days later and not the next day?

On a side note,my heartiest congrats to all the approvals and praying the rest of the lot to get theirs soon.

I agree, ariendj. Folks are soooo excited when they get their NOA2! But it can take two weeks (or more!) for the service center (I was at TSC) to bundle together a bunch of petitions to ship, and then another week (or more!) for NVC to scan them into their system.

My NOA2 was January 31. TSC didn't ship my petition until February 18th!!!! And NVC got it scanned in on February 25th.

It's only AFTER NVC scans your petition that the count for the 20-30 BUSINESS days starts and you FINALLY get your case number after that.

It's so hard after being so "up" when you get your NOA2 to realize that you go to the bottom of the pit again....

Makes you feel so important to the government doesn't it? How they care so much about one case to the next? This process isn't exciting to me anymore....

I agree, ariendj. Folks are soooo excited when they get their NOA2! But it can take two weeks (or more!) for the service center (I was at TSC) to bundle together a bunch of petitions to ship, and then another week (or more!) for NVC to scan them into their system.

Unable to send e request ....it is showing invalid receipt number....does any one have a same problem?

Yes it usually never works. Apparently their new and improved tool is a piece of #######.
